The Centre Hill Museum is an 1823 mansion, first owned by Robert Bolling IV, a wealthy Petersburg Resident. Inside the home, stunning Federal, Colonial revival and Greek revival features exhibit some of the finest attributes of these architectural styles. Guided tours of the home run frequently and are the best way to explore this sprawling estate. Also, on the first floor, are exhibits of items, photographs and documents that relate to Petersburg history, with a rotating display meaning there is always something new to see. Located just outside of downtown, the Siege Museum is just a short drive away and offers more insight into the Civil War struggles of this beautiful Virginia city.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tours run hourly on the half hour.
Adults $5; Seniors (60+) and Children (7-12) $4; Children 6 and under are free.
