Petersburg's Siege Museum chronicles life in the city around the time of the Civil War, especially focused on the famous siege of the city that took place from June 1864 until April 1865. Within the museum are exhibits relating to the changed lives of civilians during this prolonged siege, incorporating antique items, military artifacts, period documents, photographs and more. The 1839 Exchange Building houses this fascinating city museum, and not far away is the historical Centre Hill Museum.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Seniors (60+) and Children (7-12) $4; Children 6 and under are free.
