The main site for the three park areas known collectively as Petersburg National Battlefield contains the Eastern Front Visitor Center. At this location, visitors to the park can tour exhibits and see short films about the Civil War Siege of Petersburg. From there, the park tour road provides vehicle access to historical military sites that include Fort Stedman, Fort Fisher and more. Located on the western edge of Petersburg, this park is the first place to visit before heading to either the Five Forks Battlefield or City Point Units of the park.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Entry fee (7 day pass): Vehicles $5; Individuals $3.
